It breaks my heart to read your last journal entry. I want you to know that I prayed for your family each and every day and I will continue to do so as your family goes through this difficult time. You raised such a beautiful, caring, fun-loving daughter and I am blessed that I got to spend those years cheering with her.

What sadness as I read your last post.  No words of comfort can ease your pain.  May the peace of the Holy Spirit be with you as Heaven rejoices as Mallory comes home.

Mallory, you will forever be in my heart. I wear your t-shirt with pride. I prayed that God would heal your body and he answered my prayers. I wish it would have been that we could have kept you here, but I know you wouldn"t come back here for anything. I pray that God will wrap his arms around your family during this time. You are such an inspiration. We love you Mallory!

Even though our family has walked down that path, my heart is just breaking for you and your family right now. I am just so, so sorry for you all. Please know that we are praying for you, and Mallory, and your whole family. I remember when Alex was dying, and we sat and had one of our last alone talks, and he said how excited he was to meet Jesus. I know that Mallory is going to meet Him today too, and her and Alex will meet up in Heaven as well. The only thing that gave me any comfort during that time were the words from Ecclesiastes 3:1-8;

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:

a time to be born, and a time to die.

a time to plant and a time to uproot,

a time to kill and a time to heal,

a time to tear down, and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh,

a time to mourn and a time to dance,

a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain,

a time to search and a time to give up,

a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend,

a time to be silent and a time to speak,

a time to love and a time to hate,

a time for war and a time for peace.

You are in our prayers, that God wraps you in His love at this most terrible time.

-The Rampenthal and Pruszynski Family

Hi Mallory,
I know you don"t know me, but I am Kelley Shaw"s great aunt. Her mom, Karen, e-mailed me and asked me & my family to be praying for The Smith Family, and told us about their precious daughter Mallory and all you"re going through. As I read her message my heart was broken and tears came to my eyes. Karen said you are a sweetheart. I"ve looked at some of your pictures and you are a beautiful young lady. We certainly don"t know why things happen such as this, and when Kelley went through what she did, but we know God uses everything for our good. We will continue to pray for you and your family "til we know all is well with you.

Because of Christ Love,
Bonnie English & family

I"ve followed Mal"s story for several weeks now and its so inspiring and heart breaking. We all know God has a purpose for the situation; however, it doesn"t make it any less painful. I have been praying for her& the family and docs as well for her recovery. Now I pray for you as you"ve made this very tough decision. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will comfort you daily and give you peace and surround you with love as well as friends and family who love and support you.
