Hi Girls, I am please so many great things happened while I was out of town.  Mal, you are doing great, continue to move forward.  Relax tonight, get all the blood and get your strength back.  As for you Ms. Lisa, maybe a foot rub or a nice bath.  I am proud of you girls!  Katherine and I cannot wait until we meet you both face to face.  The four of us will have to go and have some time at the spa once both Katherine and Mallor are feeling better.  Have a great night.  Sharliss & Kaye Arnold

Hi Mallory my name is Alex.  I don"t think we really knew each other at KMHS, but I just wanted to say that I"ve looked at your site and read your story, and wanted to tell you to stay strong and don"t get discouraged.  You must have gone through a lot of pain, but I know that you will come through this and go on to achieve great things.

Good luck Mal and I"ll be praying for you,
Alex.

Noah Kirby

Hey! My name is Noah Luke Kirby, I was born on 8/9/07, My mom and I met your mom in the hallway at Children"s. (I"m in room 466.)

I had Biliary Atresia, and had an operation on 10/9. There is a large chance I will have to have a liver transplant before I turn 2. I also have a JP drain also, and hope to have it taken out before we leave tomorrow.

Just wanted to drop a note to say hi, and we will be praying for you and your family!

Hope you are doing well after the surgery. Of course that is a dumb comment. No one feels "Well" after surgery. I pray you will be out of that hospital soon and getting on with your life. My Grandson has been going through Boot Camp at Parris Island to become a Marine. I wrote that it had to be a piece of cake compared to what all you have endured. You are a "Trooper".

Hey Mallory!

i enjoyed my visit with you on saturday. it was so good to actually see you in person rather than hearing about you on the website. i am so glad that the surgery went well today. and they took your JP tube out!!! woohoo!! (i think that is what you call it) LOL!! but on sunday at church, it was really cool because the pastor talked about sickness and how God loves it when we trust in Him through it all. I know that is exactly what you have been doing, because He has brought you through the whole sickness. I learned that God doesn"t promise to give us only up to what we can handle, rather, He gives us more than we can handle, because if we could handle it all, there would not be a need for a Savior. Isn"t it cool how God designed us to need Him? I love that! Keep looking to Him as you complete your full recovery. Also, i learned that there is no medicine or doctor that heals us, rather it is God, who controls every fiber of our being, that heals us.  keep looking up and keep smiling. one of the things that influenced me the most about my visit with you is that even though you are sick, you are soooooooooooo full of life, and i know that it is the spirit of the Living God that is dwelling within you. I love you sooooooo much, oh, and just to let you know...mine and your picture will be in the yearbook!!! yeaaaa!!! i am so glad! :) have a great day and write me if you need ANYTHING!!!!!

love,

claire bear

Hello Mallory,

What an inspiration you are to all of us.  Just reading your journal gives me energy every day.  I am headed for Israel Monday, do you have a special prayer request you would like me to put in the Wailing Wall?  I know God answers our prayers no matter where we are but this seems to be an exceptional opportunity.

I will miss reading your journal while I am away.

Hey guys!  I had to share something with you because it made me so excited.  So, I was watching "Deal or no Deal" and the lady picked case number "17"  as soon as I saw that she had case number "17", I knew it had the million dollars in it.  Well she quit with many cases left.  When they opened the case, it had the million dollars in it.    I thought that was really cool!  Well sounds like things are going well.  I think of you all often and miss you very much!  My prayers and thoughts continue to be with you!!  Keep up the GREAT work!!!!! ~Becky
