Hey Girls!  I am thrilled to see that your day was so much better.  And to ready that Mallory wants a puppy, while we went that route and David got Katherine a beautiful, expensive Yorkie named Lucy.  Did I say expensive?  Well anyway, she is just the cutest thing you have every seen but we all agree she is a little crazy and does not keep her mind on what she is doing especially when it comes to the potty issue.  My vote is a cute beagle.  That is my favorite dog and I have the best beagle in Georgia and Tennessee, her name is Molly.  As David will tell you, Lucy is cute as can be but Molly is the good dog.  I pray this weekend will be wonderful.

Love, Sharliss & Katherine

Molly Burleson

Hey Mal.

Just want you to know how truly special you are.  No matter what kind of day you have had or are having you muster a smile and you always try and see something good and postive.  I happened to hear a random quote on TV today that said something to the effect that sometimes through the hardest times the best things are revealed.  I have no doubt that you have had to reflect on who you are, what you are made of, and where you find the strength to be strong and persevering, and thus you are becoming more of the individual God created you to be. Through your struggles, joys, trials, relflections, and successes you discover truth, in many ways.

So all in all, you are amazing and wonderful and beautiful.

My prayers are certainly with you and your family; may blessings fall upon all of you.  And may God grant all of us the heart and eyes and spirit to receive with grace those things that don"t necessarily present as blessings, but which allow us the opportunity to receive more fully the love, grace, truth, and presence of our God.

Love ya"ll,

Molly

Hey Mallory,

Just wanted to again let you know that I am praying for you.  You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.  I know that the road is tough, but know that you are never alone.  God is ALWAYS there with you.  Even when you cannot feel Him, He is still there.  When I met you the other week I was in awe of the strength and courage that you had.  I know that it is God working through you, but it is awesome to know that you are allowing Him to work through you.  Continue to do that...He will NEVER let you down.  Please let me know if there is anything that you need!!  Hang in there girl!!

Heather Snyder :)

p.s.  Since I found out that you are a Alabama fan I had to pass on along one thing....Go War Eagle....hehe!!!  Just playing with you!!!  Go Roll Tide!!  :)

Mallory!

I"m so glad I got to see you Sunday! I hope we didn"t wear you out, we didn"t want to stay long because we know you haven"t been feeling well. It sounds like things have been rough the past few days. But don"t worry, I know things are going to be looking up there soon. Keep your head up-- you"re so strong. I"m proud of you and share your story whenever I can here at school. You"re an inspiration to everyone Mallory, even to those who don"t know you personally.

Tell your Mom, Dad, Michael, and MawMaw that I said hello and to keep their heads up too! I hope Michael continues to enjoy his firefighter training. I"ve been thinking about it and I want him to teach me how to do that busting in the door thing your mom talked about... I think it would come in handy here in the dorms. Just get back to me on that.

Love,
Lauren H.

Dear Mallory

I had the pleasure of meeting your grandmother on Monday eevning and she told me all about you and your long stay at Emory. I was staying at Mason House for my last pre op testing and next friday, the 26th, my son is giving me one of his kidneys.  I guess we will be in the same area of the hospital if you aren"t out by then. I hope you are feeling better each day and it certainly seems that you have a wonderful family and a huge group who really care about you and who keep you in their prayers. Perhaps we"ll say hello when we get there.

Scott Foster ( they will know me in the hospital as David which is my first name---my son as well but he is called Scott or Turk. He is a brand new groom having gotten married three weeks ago

Hey Mallory!  I hope this entry finds you well and smiling as usual.  Don"t take any of these setbacks too seriously.  It is just a small bump in the road, but soon you will be sailing along on smooth ground.  You deserve it!  You and your family are an inspiration to us all.  Your attitude is better than anyone I have ever seen, even in the face of pain and adversity.

Alex and Sarah, please let us know when your web-site is up.  As you can tell, we are all c-r-a-z-y about Mallory and her family and are so glad that the two of you have become friends.  I hope you get closed up before you"re 30;-)

Michael, great job on your training.  Keep pushing ahead, you will be a great firefighter.  Don"t ever forget that you are one of the reasons that Mallory is such a fighter and such a great person.

Hey Mal!

It"s Alex from down on the PICU floor. Just wanted to say "hey" and let you know i was thinking about you. I met Kitty to and just like and your mom she is totally awesome. She gives good hugs!

My mom got in last night from Canada and it was good to see her.  Moms always help you feel better when your sick. She"ll be here for 10 days so we"ll get up to your room sometime so you can meet my mom.

My sister Sarah is so inspired by you as am I, that she"s already registered and started working on my own website.  It"s    teamaramp.net   but i don"t think there"s anything on it yet. You guys will have to help me out on putting stuff together for it.

Anyways, I heard you were feeling a little blah today after the closing but am glad to hear you numbers were bettter in the afternoon. Keep you chin up and don"t let them take your Benadryl! haha!

Romero and Heffron won"t give me a clear answer of when I may get closed or off the PGE"s. Romero said they may just wait til next week to take me of the PGE"s and Heffron joked that maybe he"ll close me when i"m 30...

But I"m gonna come up in a few days and see you whenever your feeling up to it.

Later Mallory!

Mallory - I"m sitting here tonight after an incredibly long weekend and all I can think is "wow".  We say you"re an inspiration and you give us strength but what does that mean?  It means that when we think we can"t possibly go on or deal with the stress that life keeps throwing at us - we look at you.  How can I complain about bumps in the road when you have more on your plate than any teen-ager should ever deal with and you have an uplifting view of the world and the mountain you have climbed.  You have not only lived to tell about two liver transplants, but have done it with an endearing sense of humor and a belief that there is a reason.  You"re inspiring to us on a daily basis and it"s just simply because you are who you are.  Be you and great things are in your future.  Hang in there and keep leaning on that family of yours.  They"re rock solidly behind you, too.  Take care of you.

One of the many admirers....
