I learned of your journey through Katherine Arnold"s site, you are both very strong girls and an inspiration to all that read your stories.  I keep up with your progress daily and you are in my thoughts and prayers.  My daughter Kelsi will be over there on the 4th floor Thursday and Friday for her IVIG treatment.  If you are feeling up to it send me an email and maybe we can stop by and say hello.

Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That last update sounds wonderful!!!!  I believe you have turned the corner sweetie!!!!  I know you are jumping up and down inside.....drink lots of fluid and try to eat so solids and you will be out of there before you know it....yeeeee hawwwwwwwwww!

So glad to hear that those kidneys are doing better and that they are waking up to the world!!  That is wonderful news.  It just takes time to quote the docs at Egleston.  I know that is an annoying thing to hear because I myself remembering hearing it and being annoyed....but then I realized how great it was to be here to have more time!!!  So hang in there....you will get there!!!!

This past Friday my sorority had our pledge bash and the theme was "perfectly paired." So while everyone else decided to be really cutesy things like Lucy & Ethel and Danny & Sandy from Grease, we decided to be...

A FAT KID AND CAKE. And of course I was the fat kid. It was hilarious. And I was hoping I could bring a smile to your face by putting them on here, but I wasn"t sure how to do it and I didn"t want to mess anything up.

I"m coming home for my Fall Break on Friday though and I"m hoping to get down there to visit you and your family! But until then remember-- I love you like a fat kid loves cake! Take care and I"ll see you soon! :)

I missed you so much on Friday night, i am tearing up as i write this now. To be queen after such a girl as yourself is such an honor. Hey Mallory! So glad to hear that the fever has gone down. I remember the days in the hospital when I didn"t want to go for walks. In the end, I knew it was for the better. I"m so happy that you are up and moving around by yourself. I hope and pray that today is uneventful and relaxing for you and your family.

I am glad that nasty fever is gone, hopefully it will stay gone!! I can not tell you how many times a day we think of you - I get online several times a day just to get an update. The first thing Greg"s says when he comes in from work is "Have you checked Mal"s website lately?"

We want to come see you as soon as you feel up to it!!We are helping my boys move next Saturday :( so I will need to see that sweet spirit of yours to cheer me up!!!

We want to bring all of you dinner some night soon, seems y"all are getting quite a bit of home cooked food - I think that is great!! Nothing beats a home cooked meal!!

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as always!! Keep on fighting and you will be out of there and getting on with your life!!

I know everyone is so proud that you have walked on your own and that Alex and George have finally started to do their job. I"m so sorry you had that fall last night. You didn"t need that to happen did you??!!!

I am praying that they will be able to determine what is causing your fever and get that taken care of so that you can get on with your recovery.

You just amaze me at your strength. Please keep hanging in there. I know that things are going to get better.

Hi Mallory! I"m not even sure if you would know me or not, but I am Holly Dutton"s mom. I know that you weren"t really close through school but we have definately kept up with you and your story since you first got sick and I just wanted you to know. I hope it helps you to know that there are even more people out there rooting you on and praying for you than you probably realize!

We missed seeing you tonight at homecoming, but because of your not being there, we learned that you had become ill again. Thankfully, they had some flyers put together with your website so we could check your progress and order some t-shirts. We"re planning on ordering a shirt for each of us and also distributing copies of the flyers to several others we know. I also have a HUGE network of friends who are "prayer partners" and I will be sending each of them an email with a link to your site so that they can pray for you and your family, including Izzy! My thought is to get the word out to as many people as possible to raise funds, raise awareness, and for prayers. I"m sure you are a testimony to the power of prayer!!

Thank the Lord that you and your family are believers and are as faithful as you are. Your faith will see you thru and His Grace will carry you during the most difficult times.
