Hey SUPERSTAR!

Hey Mallory! it"s claire. i just wanted to send you a note of encouragement. I know you must be sooo exhausted, but i wanted to remind you that Jesus has give us not a spirit of fear, but of power and a strong mind. He is your number one fan. If you need any encouragement, i hope that it would not be found in any one person but Christ. for He is our very present help in time of need. There is a song that i love and i have been hearing it on the radio. i think that it is by Chris tomlin. but some of the words are...

Bring me joy, bring me peace...bring whatever it takes to praise you, and i know there"ll be days when (something...i guess being stressed, sad or exhausted :) because then he sings) but if that"s what it takes to praise You, Jesus bring the rain....Mallory, i think of you when i hear this song and i hope that you can see that Jesus is bringing rain in your life so that He may be exalted. You can pretty much say that when people see you, they know that there is something in you that is bigger than anything anyone could ever imagine. sometimes, the LORD has to take us to great heights before we can realize our unrealized power. I love you so much and i continue to think of you aften. i will dedicate this week to praying for your quick recovery. God"s got your back sweetie, no crying.You know exactly who holds tomorrow!!! Am sure when you read this you will be back from the procedures and doing great. Your dad told me the other day you are one of the toughest and bravest people he has ever seen. I certainly have to agree. Aunt Martha, myself and half of the Southeast has been and will continue to pray for you every day and night until you tell us to stop.

  Hello Mallory this Aunt Jewel & I just read the up date on your journal, I am truley sorry that you are having such a bad day, but Mallory hang in ther baby because GOD has something special plained for your life. You are such a special girl & you have touched so many lives in more ways than you will ever know.I am still praying for you & every one in your family, you have such a special & loving family to surround you with the love that you need, that is a blessing in it"s self. I have thought & prayed for you often this past week. Hal was on a Unilever trip last week & I did not have a "working" computer at home. I am thrilled to know your kidneys are improving. Our sunday school class at Rowland Springs Baptist prayed for you  again today. I pray today that your pain will not be so bad. When I get an ache or pain I think about how much more you are enduring. You are one tough girl!! I am sure as soon as you can get out of the bed you will be on your way to the University of Georgia . I am under the impression you need  help in your true conversion from Alabama. To help you along, I have bought you "17" University of Georgia items. The Maulden Family would like to visit soon & bring these to you. I hope you improve quickly and the pain is only a bad memory.

Hello Miss Mallory,

Just a brief note to let you know you"re still in my thoughts. Farid mentioned that he told you about the Anatomy Class t-shirts. It"s a terrific shirt with "Bodies...The Exploration" on the front and the Vitruvian Man (you know, the DaVinci drawing) on the back. There"s a section for current students" names and a section for "Distinguished Alumni". Students are buying these shirts to help support the Shop With a Mustang program...Anyway, of course I added your name to the "distinguished alumni" section of the shirt and it will be a little gift for you to look forward to as soon as it arrives.

Hi Mallory,

I am writing to let you know that you are also in my prayers.  I have been visiting Egleston a lot this week because my baby nephew, Hunter Griffin is in one of the rooms next to you in the PICU.  I have seen how your family gathers and cares for each other, and that is such a testimony for their love for you.  I pray that your body will heal sooner rather than later, and that you will get that transplant!

  I didn"t get home until late last night, so I didn"t get to check the journal until this morning.  I"m glad to hear that things are headed in the right direction.  You are an amazing young lady...most inspiring of all your attributes is your positive and uplifting attitude!  Thanks for just being you!  I ordered me, Jason, and Emma new shirts this morning!  Ok...so Emma"s will be a little big, but I"ll send you a picture of her in her Team Mal shirt as soon as I get one!

Oh, We are so very happy that Alex & George made their premier performance  last night!  PRAISE THE LORD!  It sounds like Mal has made the turn!!!!!!!!!! So wonderful that her Grandpa is watching over her! Tell me there is no GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are so excited we could just shout! You go girl!

May God continue to hold you all in the palm of his precious hands! Thanks Lisa & Mike for keeping us informed!  We check continually for all updates!

So glad that George and Alex have decided to gear up for the big premire and do some work.  :)  Typical men, showing up at the last minute.  Sooooo cool about the 17"s in the episode.  Such an amazing blessing.  

Once again I want you to know how proud the 4 East staff is of your amazing spirit and strength through all of this.  We are blessed to be able to witness your journey and the strength and faith of you and your family.  Keep fighting and we"ll see your beautiful smile on our floor again soon.
