Good morning, Mal & Smith Family,  I am in Nashville this week with Katherine while her parents take a well deserved trip.  We have had some fun such as a visit to the Coach shop at the Prime Outlet stores in Lebanon, Tn.  She has reach maintenance.  We are praying for no fever this week and minimal side effects of the new chemo regimin.

We check on you daily and continue our prayers for your recovery.  We know it will get better for you, our prayer is sooner rather than later.  Meanwhile, please know we love you and pray many times daily for recovery and peace for you.

Hmmmmm, just read the last message. Farid should be cramming for his big Anatomy test right now. lol.

Anyway, remember the liver model you made for anatomy class? It"s been sitting on top of the cabinets next to a kidney model since last fall. Yesterday we turned the liver so that it actually faces the kidney model. We"re hoping for a little "telepathic" communication from your liver model to the kidney model (BACK TO WORK...STAT) and that this message will somehow be delivered from your real liver to your real kidneys....

As you probably know we are all here thinking and worrying about you. Thank you so much for updating through this site. I told Lisa Lawrence that if I were in your place I don"t know that I would even think to post notes, messages, etc for others. We are all grateful that the surgery went well and that she has again charged through like a champ! Will continue the prayers but I"m beginning to think we need more to keep her from having these little side trips back to the OR, maybe we need to make it clear that we want her back in her HOME! I"ll work harder! Bless you all!

Mallory you are so AMAZING! You have gone through more in the past year, than most people go through in a lifetime. Your positive attitude and strength motivate me daily! I know the past couple have days have been extremely rough on you and I promise I have been praying for you as always. I have told all of my friends how incredible you are and they all want to meet you someday! They are all amazed by your courage and perserverance too.

Do you remember the picture frame that you gave me before prom? Well I framed a picture of us in our dresses in it, and it is displayed proudly on my desk. Seeing you constantly reminds me of how lucky I am to be friends with you, and how much of a positive influence you have had on my life.

I promise I will come visit soon! I can"t wait to see you again! Please let me know if there is anything I can bring ok? I will be praying for you!
