Dora Tate

Mallory - I am working on the same project that your Dad is and I"ve been following your progress for many months.  Your Dad and Tim Robertson has kept our team informed about how you are doing and about how your Dad is holding up.  You have certainly had your ups, downs, bumps in the road, and successes.  I pray that we will hear more very soon about the successes.

I want you to know that I think you are an extremely brave & strong person.  I don"t think that many of us could go through what you are and remain so positive and strong.  Though you don"t know me, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  I pray that this current bump will smooth out soon and that you"ll be on your way to recovery.

Hi Mallory,  this is your mom,s cousin chris in mobile. I want to apologize for not keeping in closer contact with you and your family over the past year. We have followed your progress thru your grandmother and maw-maw. Everyday that goes by we pray for the lord to be with you and you family and to ask for understanding as to why such a terrible thing could happened to such a wonderful young lady. Last night we were remembering the last time ya"ll came down and we all went tubing and kneeboarding. That was a fun time. I know you can"t be having much fun right now with all that your going thru but keep your chin up, keep fighting and things will get better. God knows that you and your family deserve it. You truly are an inspriration to those of us who tend to get bogged down by our little day to day problems that dont amount to anything. Tell all HI and  Hugs and Prayers to you. Oh and ROLL TIDE!  Love Chris

Mal I don’t know where to start, but I must say that this has truly been the most adventures almost 10months of my life! We have been through so much together, from the good times to the rough times, but you and I have always stuck together! Even thou you are going through some of the roughest times in your life at the moment, you have always stayed positive and had a positive outlook on life! This is truly an amazing gift that you have because unfortunately in today’s society, we humans focus on the negative things in our life instead of the positive, but you have always looked at the bright side of things and have always had your eyes on the light in the end of the tunnel! I know of no one that could have survived these hard times except you Mallory! You truly are an inspiration to me and to anyone else that has heard your story! It is always how we face the challenges in our life that truly defines us! You have faces these challenges with the utmost bravery, and you have truly shown the world that you are indeed a worrier! With lots of love….your number 1 fan …….

Mallory:

I work at Georgian Bank in the Gwinnett office.   I heard about you from the constant email updates your mom is sending.  It wasn"t until I was able to go to your website that I could put a face with a name.  Obviously, you are a beautiful young lady with lots of living to do.  I believe that God has put this hardship in your path for a reason.   Keep up the fight!  My husband and I are praying for you, your family and your doctors everyday.  One day when you are an old grandmother, you can tell your grandchildren about this time in your life and how all things worked together for your good.

Much love,

Nona

Mallory, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU! You have been through more than anyone I know. You are my hero. I wish I could handle things with as much grace and joy as you. Your smile yesterday was an unexpected gift from God. I knew you were hurting, but still you smiled and cracked jokes. You inspire me. You inspire everyone who meets you. Your nurse was right...You are an absolute angel and a blessing to know. I can"t even believe you are my best friend. I am so blessed and priveledged to know you. Again, I love you, and you are my hero. Keep fighting. Stay strong like I know you are. God loves every inch of you and already knows what"s next. I know you trust Him. He does too! You are the love of my life!

Love, Haley

Psalm 119:50 says this..." My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life."

Lisa, I love you too! I can"t even imagine the pain you are feeling.  Stay strong. Keep faith. "I have told you these things, so that you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33.  Check out the song "Praise you in this storm" by Casting Crowns. It helped me out last night.  Love you, and keep me posted about the 12th

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  We think of you often, and really hope for a successful out come.  Plus, we pray they will find an excellent match real soon.

Well Mallory I guess Doug is like an ex-boyfriend.  You had some good times and some bad times, but in the end it wasn"t a perfect match.  You will always remember him fondly and reflect on the good times you shared, but he wasn"t your soul mate and second best just doesn"t cut it for a girl like you.  Only the best most perfect will do for our Mallory.

Keep your faith in God even during this tough time and know he has a plan for you and this is just part of it.  You have everything going for you; fath, family, love, beauty, brains, determination, imagination, humor, spirit, and dedication.  The world is a better place because I know you and your family.

Your soul mate liver is out there and he is waiting to carry you the rest of your journey.

Dad

Mallory,

When I think about you one word that comes to my mind “AMAZING”! You are such a sweet and caring person and you have to be one of the funniest girls I have ever met. I have to be careful around you because your quick wit sometimes gets the better of me but it keeps on my toes. I am so sorry that you are having to go thru this and would trade places with you in a heartbeat if I could but you would tell me that I wouldn’t be strong enough to handle it. That’s just the type of person you have grown up to be. I remember the first time I laid eyes on you, I thought that you were the most beautiful girl I had ever seen (and still do). You can’t imagine how many lives you have touched and how much joy you have brought to this world and me too. You have always had a special place in my heart and always will. I pray you have a speedy recovery because we have to get us that cappuccino that we have not had in a long time!

Love Dad (Pops)

Wanted to share with you one more thing. The Lord gave me the lyrics to this song. I"m in a Christian band, and he gave me a song entitled "Have Your Way". I wanted to share my heart with yours...

All within this heart of mine...Reaching to the deepest depths inside
Come search me God
God do you withhold your hand from the desires my heart longs to see fulfilled
Come search me God
And God I"m not angry...But Lord I feel the pain
Won"t you take it all away ...As I cry out your name
How can it be that this God who so loves me will not release unto me the deepest cries of my heart...Have Your Way, Have Your Way, Have Your Way, Lord I trust You
One thing I know is true...Shall always remain the same
Our God is sovereign, and He reigns!

Mallory,

I heard of your story through Nicole Herring...I had the awesome opportunity to lead her in Bible study back in Waynesboro way back in the day. Your story is such a powerful story! I know the Lord will make something so unbelievably beautiful of all of this. I am in a Bible study right now, just started up yesterday as a matter of fact. It"s a study on the book of Daniel in the Bible by Beth Moore. She said something that just stuck with me yesterday. She said, "God is faithful to His Word even when it"s bad news." So simple, yet so profound! This is true for you. My sister, your God, our God, He is faithful even when the news flat out stinks. And, He"s crazy in love with you. I encourage you to trust Him and perservere. You are loved by the King!

Dear Mallory:

You are so very, very brave!  You are so fortunate to have such a wonderful family, especially your mother.

The doc"s at Emory are superior and you are in great hands....the Greatest Hands of All, belonging to God.

Keep your chin up and "this, too, shall pass."  Everything happens for a reason.  The reason will appear when you least expect it.

My prayer is for your bravery to continue, the pain to go away and your liver to become renewed.

Mallory,

My daughter is Nicole"s friend and she sent us your website.  We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.  I understand about transplant having been given the gift of life 5 years ago- a heart transplant.  I have  many liver transplant friends.  I am involved with the GTF mentor project. We have several young girls who have experienced liver transplants.  If you would like to talk with one, just let me know and I"ll set it up for you.  We also have parent mentors who are caregivers of liver recipients. Since GTF is a link here, I assume you know of all the services we offer to transplant candidates and recipients.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you and your family.  I wish you a speedy recovery and good health.
