Hey Ladies and Mike, just wanted to say Hi, Kaye still has the mattress on the Family Room floor.  This is leftover from the 23 people we had in the house over the weekend celebrating her birthday.  We are praying hard for you and lifting you so high.  Praying the pain today will be much better and you are able to relax.  We love you and think you are grand!

Christy Kotal

Dear Mallory and family,   Just to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you every second.  Laurie Whitfield is a dear friend of a mind and her little girl Avery at 8 mos. just had a liver transplant.  Lots of prayer went up for her and God showed He was there and let us all know that He is God and He does answer prayer.  As with you, God is there and He will answer prayers in due time.  May God continue to give you strength and comfort.  I know this is a scary time especially being the 2nd time but remember that Psalm 56:3 tells us, "That when we are afraid we are to trust in God."  I share this with my K-2 Sunday School Class and my Sparks because of their little fears.  It lets them know that God is holding them always and He is holding you as well.  Just to say that you are loved and prayer is going up for you.  Again may God give you strength and comfort.    Love, Christy

Heard about your story through The Whitfields.  We just want you to know that you and your family will be in our prayers.  God has brought you this far for a reason and with continuous prayer and trust in Him He will keep His healing hands on your life.  After reading your story anyone can tell you are a bright and talented young woman and that you have a wonderful future ahead of you.  A verse that I rely on in times like this is Proverbs 3:5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on yur own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Mallory,

We will continue to pray for you and your family as well. As you have heard time and time again, you are such an inspiration to all of us.  Our family especially looks up to you as a beacon of hope for what Avery’s future will hold one day.  You are such a beautiful, vivacious young lady with such a bright future ahead.   Life doesn’t seem fair sometimes and it is only human nature to question why some people have to suffer more than others.  Remember that if God brings you to it, He will bring you through it just as he did before.  It is hard to remember that when you are in the valley.  But just picture all of the thousands of people along side that mountain cheering you on.  We know that you are in the best of hands!  We will see you tomorrow after clinic, Birthday Girl!

God bless,

The Whitfield’s

Hi Mallory,

What wonderful support you have as you wait for your surgery. Your guest book entries are very encouraging. I have a name suggestion for you also.  In our family is a little niece who was born at Cobb Wellstar in August. After her birth she was rushed to Egleston the same night. She was born with a three chambered heart and at five days old she had a heart transplant.  She is now at home with with her mom and doing very well. Her name is Lily! Our family will be praying for you to continue to have God"s grace as you do all the doctor"s ask of you to increase that score for transplant. That"s another super name Grace. Blessings from Powder Springs,

Diane

Mallory -   I have a son that is a sophmore at Hiram High School who 3 months ago underwent his second kidney transplant.  He was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease when he was 3 years old.  His first transplant lasted a month shy of 10 years.  In January we put on a donor waiting list and after just 5 months he received his new kidney. I have no idea what goes through your mind at receiving such a gift.  I know we still pray for the family that made the decision for their child to be an organ donor, and my son still thinks often about the fact that someone died in order for him to live and what an awesome gift life is.  I wish you success in your senior year - and the best of luck at University of Alabama.  My son has had both of his transplants at UAB and they are the best!

Hi Ladies, just had a chance to catch up on all the news.  We had lots of fun with Kaye and 23 total extra people in my house this weekend to celebrate Kaye"s 15th.  It was hard for her, she is still very weak and was sick most of the weekend however, having all those friends around her made her so happy.  I have told Kaye about the new liver and it made her sad, mad and we have prayed for you guys.  I know God will handle every bit of this.  I am so very proud of you Mal and your wonderful family.  I pray you have a good relaxing day.  Find a way to make a memory.  Ask mom to go out and get you a can of whip cream.  That seems to make a whole room of girls break out into laughfter, just ask Kaye"s daddy...David.  Love you to pieces, Sharliss

God listens to and answers all prayers.  It is my belief that He listens to the prayers of innocent children before He listens to those of us adults.  My little grand daughter, Megan, is 5 years old and has been in church practically the day she was born.  She says a prayer for you every day, in her childlike words.  God will listen to her and send you a liver in a hurry!

Mallory,

I just wanted to let you know that we are praying for you.  We had a pray on our mission trip last year when you were so sick.  Lots of people, who did not know you, but heard, through me, you Mom and Dad"s prayer request.  Those same people are at it again.  We are all convinced that it is only a matter of time.  One time I had to buy a car really fast, because the one I had quit on me to the point I couldn"t fix it.  The only car I could afford was a 1969 VW bug.  Man, was it a piece of junk.  No heater, no driver side seat.  But you know, it got me to work until I could afford to buy a better one.  Today it"s just a memory, I seldom think about that old car, but when I do, I really do appreciate what I drive now.  Someday, this will be a memory.  Hang in there girl.

Well We heard that you have to get a new liver. But that is ok because Doug is just not working out and it is time for him to go. There will be a better liver soon!! So you might have to come up with a new name for that one or it could be Doug # 2.  Whatever you may name it as long as it makes you better that is all that matters.

We love you and our whole family is praying for you everyday!!!

Feel better soon

With lots of love

Chris and Amber

Hi Mallory,

I"m a member of Macland Baptist Church. I have been keeping up with and praying for you since July, 2006. I took a look at your photo gallery. You are an amazingly beautiful young lady and so brave. I"m so sorry that you are having to go through it again. I can"t help but to believe that God, our Father and closest campanion, has a special purpose and plan on your life. Keep your eyes focused on him. He promised never to lease or forsake us.

Have you seen the movie "Facing the Giant"? Great film, if you haven"t. There was a passage in the movie that said, "Bloom where you"re planted".  I felt lead to say this you.

We love and are praying for you.

Hey Mallory! I just found out yesterday that you were in the hospital and I couldn"t believe it. It was like dejavu. I called Haley to get an update on everything and she told me that you needed a new liver. So.. now that Doug is gone... who will it be this time? Bob the Builder? Stitch? Mallory I know you are gonna make it through this again. You are one of the strongest girls I know and this is just gonna be a walk in the park for you. I know it"s a struggle and I know it"s gonna be hard but stay strong. You have so many people that love you and are by your side. I won"t be able to come home for a couple weeks but when I do I will try my best to come and visit. Even if I can"t see you, I want to see your mom. I hope she is doing okay. I can"t imagine how they feel having to see you go through this again. You are in my prayers. I miss you so much Mallory. I love you too! I told your mom last year that right before I heard you were in the hoispital... I thought of you. I remembered a time at practice when you and Adrienne were being retarded and ended up running into eachother because y"all  were wrapping someone up in the velcro. I don"t know how to spell that word but o"well. And then right before I heard about you this time... I wrote on your facebook wall. Maybe I just shouldn"t write you or something. It never turns out good. Haha. Maybe I"m bad luck. I don"t know. Well I know this was long but I just want you to know that I"m thinking about you and I love you!  Tell your mom I said hello. Stay strong Mallory. You"ll get through this again! I promise!

Love,

Christina

I heard about Doug, but you know maybel Doug was just a standin until the right one comes along, Doug must have known how much you didn"t like Phil (was that the others name?) Anyway there"s a new one right around the corner what are you going to call him?

I just know you will do well, you know the word faith is a verb and everyone is putting it into action believing in another miracle.

Hi Mallory,

My name is Cheryl Lance and even though we have never met I love you. That is one of the many wonderful things that comes from having Jesus live within our hearts, a deep, genuine love for one another.

You were put on the prayer list at my church ( Northlake Baptist ) in Gainesville, Ga. by Dana Hooper Wigley and she also provided a link to your website.

I have a daughter that just turned 20 and she was also a football & competition cheerleader. I can only imagine how hard this must be for you and your parents.

What an awesome young lady you are. I will be praying for you daily.

In Christ,

Cheryl Lance

Hi Mallory, like so many of our team, I am one of the folk your Dad works with and shares your challenges with. We are all aware and most of us are praying for you daily. What you are going through and the attitude that he has shared with us that you carry is inspiration for all of us. Please know that God surely has you in His hands. Your life means much to so many - and He will carry you through this.
