I know that I haven"t Had the opportunity to spend time with your family over the years but seeing you the few times I have, you have grown to be a beautiful young women. Happy Birthday!  I wanted so badly to come see you today, but I have bronchitis (again) and you don"t need any germs.  We are also hosting a fast pitch tournament at North Cobb and all of us have to "pitch" in.

Hi Mallory!  You probably don"t remember me, but I was in Moreno"s Spanish class with you like two years ago I think?  haha I don"t remember!  But I am here at UGA, and everyone is so excited to meet you and wish you well. You"re dorm with Haley is right next to mine (Lipscomb). You are in our prayers, and even though I don"t know you very well, I know that you"re a strong girl and can get through this!  Dr J told my anatomy class all about you and how much you have gone through.  I think it is amazing that you still have such a positive outlook on life :)  You are an inspiration to all of us!  I really hope you get off the waiting list soon and that all goes well! I know it will.  Stay strong and positive!  I will be praying for you with all my heart!!

I hope you are doing better today. I"ve been reading your family"s journal posts and it sounds like things will be looking up.

I don"t think you will remember me very well, we had a couple of math classes together. But you"ve been on my mind for quite some time. I had an internship with a group of surgeons at Kennestone for the past seven months. I want nothing more in the world than to become a doctor. And until I became touched by stories of patients I met, I wasn"t ambitious enough. I researched a bit of what you have.. treatments and such. I spoke with my surgeons about it many times and watched them perform liver operations.

You"ve really changed how I feel about my future in medicine. And as much as I want to help young people fight and overcome their illnesses, I want you to get better.. as the first person who really inspired me to chase a life long dream.

Without intending to, you and your amazing family have touched the lives so many of us. And I wanted you all to know that I"ve seen many, many times our patients recover and stabilize in such a way that one would never know they were ill.

Wednesday also happens to be a big day coincidently for me as well and I know that great things will happen, especially for you.
