Hey Mallory and Lisa,

Hope everything has been going ok.  It sounds like Mallory had a rough couple of days.  I think about you guys often throughout the day.  And I keep praying and waiting for Izzy to come!!  I wish I could take care of you every day.  I had so much fun at our little party!  Tell Mallory I said "hi" and I"ve been thinking about her and praying for little Izzy to come FAST!  I will see you on Thursday!  Keep smiling!  You will get through this.  You both are very tough people!

Although we have never met, the first thing I do every morning is visit your web site.  I have placed your name on every prayer chain I know of.  One church is WV updates their congregation at every service on your progress.  Mountaineers pray powerful prayers!

Being a successful kidney transplant receipent, I know what I experienced while listed.  However similar, our experiences are different, and I can only imagine what you and your wonderful family are going through at this time.

One thing I remember was being consumed with the "wait" for a call.  Then, when I least expected it, the phone rang!  My kidney function was at 4% when I was transplanted.  Your story brings back such memories to me. 

Miracles do happen and angels do exist.  You are the angel and your miracle will happen soon.  Keep a smile on that beautiful face.

Mal,I know you would rather be celebrating your birthday somewhere else but I just wanted to give you a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY message. Keep working on getting your strength back and be ready for a new liver to get you up on your feet again. I think about you everyday. I have a son who is 16 and a Junior and on Monday night he came home and asked what we thought about him going to Alabama. He gave us information about the tuition being less than Univ.of Fla (we visited it this summer and it is one of his current choices) and that is is closer for us to visit. We told him we would be happy for him to attend Alabama (his Dad says no to Tenn and I say no to UGA - we"re Tech fans) but that he needs to research what he wants to study etc. but we are glad he"s even thinking about it now even though I know his friends are the ones talking about colleges right now. UGA is waiting for you and I"m pulling for you! Have a very Happy Birthday and be ready to really celebrate soon when you leave!!
