Lisa Lawrence

Hey George and Alex!  Izzie is doing all the work while you guys goof off!  It"s time to get back to work and get Mallory moving and flowing again.

Lisa, thanks for the 17 story.  I still get goosebumps when I read it.  There was no way that someone as devoted to his family as your father would let his passing from earth get in the way of watching over Mallory.  Of course he is in Heaven telling everyone right now about Mallory.  The love never stops even when they pass on.

We are all still praying for Mallory and will continue to do so.  I can"t wait for the day I hear you have dropped her off at UGA and she is happy healthy and having fun.  I am still constantly amazed at your strength and devotion to Mallory.  She is a lucky girl to have you and Mike and her wonderful family.

P.S.  Congratulations Michael!  We knew you could do it.

P.S.2.  My daughters want to know when the firemen calendars with you in it come out!

Hi Lisa,

I am writing this to you as I know Mallory is still not fully awake.  There will be many things to share when she is awake and off the ventilator.  I was thrilled to hear of Mallory"s transplant on Monday, I was OOT until last night.  I understand the slow recovery, and know that she is in the best place possible - I know you know that too.  I am praying for Mallory (Izzie, Alex and George) as well as you, Mike and all your family.  It is amazing the things that God shows us about ourselves and those around us when the road rough.  You are truly inspirational for all those that come in contact with you.

I so appreciate being able to log on everyday to get the updates on Mallory. Thank you for continuing to share with us.

Good Morning

I have read your journal every day with great faith that all will continue to get better.  Your witness in your faith and looking to God has certainly glorified Him and rewards you have certainly seen his hand at work.  Someone told me the other day with faith you can move a mountain, it may not move the way you tell it to but you can climb over it and have it under your feet.  Speak God"s scriptures outloud continuely and watch those kidneys come alive.

With much faith you all are on the road to more pleasant days ahead.

Well Mallory, I am setting here looking at your beautiful face.  I finally got your Mom to go get some rest.   She is a little stubborn sometimes but she needed to get some rest so she can be strong to take care of you.  We love you so much and Izzie is working so good......We are so thankful that she has found a good home and for such a special young lady...Now if those kidneys will just wake up everything will all come together.   Love you bunches and bunches.....God has His arms surrounding you and He has given these doctors the great knowledge to take care of you.  I have to hug Dr. Heffron every time I see him...Love you and God Bless You and Take Care of You  Today and Every Day....Maw Maw

When Tomorrow Comes

When tomorrow comes, we will likely see

The lessons and joys of our own history

The years of past with their turns and twists

Shall be mostly fond and glad they weren"t missed

They"ll have some tears but plenty of laughter

And tell a story with “happily ever after”

So many stories, we’ll search for the time to tell

And you’ll have such a smile, because you lived them well

When tomorrow comes, and the day is bright and new

All will emerge, waiting to see you

A glimpse, a word, a moment of pure jest

Your wit, your laugh, personality at its best

Anticipation grows great, as the sun passes through

Beautiful skies, trees, and scenes, but none compare to seeing you

So push past today and the times of yesteryear

And when tomorrow comes, we’ll all be waiting here

Hi Mallory!

I used to work with your sweet and crazy Uncle Frank!  He loves you so very much!  I was able to go to the Mardi Gras parade this year with Aunt Robin and Uncle Frank.  I hope you liked all the fun stuff they sent you, we sure had fun collecting it.

I am keeping you in my daily prayers.  I pray that your medical team is open to hear what God is telling them to do.  I pray also for you to get better so that you can finish college, even if it is at The University of Alabama.  LOL.  God cares about you and has not left your side.  Get lots of rest so that you will be up and at"m in no time.
