I got on the internet last night and was sooo happy to read about all the great news that you have received in the last couple of days.  I have been praying for you since the first day I meet you on the floor.  You have renewed my "prayer life" without even knowing it.  I find it amazing how powerful and uplifting the power of prayer is and I want you to know that i"ll continue to prayer for you and your family in the following months. When I choose to enter into nursing I knew that I was going to be personally touched by many people and I can proudly say that your loving personality has moved me to be a more compassionate nurse. You are truly an amazing girl with a fabulous family. Keep the faith and I"ll be on the floor later this week to visit with you.

Mallory- Just want you to know we are up here in Alaska saying a prayer for you again this morning. Praying the surgeons hands will be guided by Him and that you will remain stable throughout the surgery. Also praying that this is a great match for you and that the donor family finds some comfort in their loss with the knowledge of helping others to live.

My son, Marek, was transplanted when he was 6 months old. He is know a vibrant 4 year old that just started pre-school a few weeks ago. I know you already have been through this and it doesn"t seem right that you are facing it all over again but there is some reason. I don"t know what the reason is but from what I have read you are a very special person and I know you will go on to live a great life and my prayers that it will be long and healthy!!

I am so glad that Izzie will be here soon!  I thought of you tonight when Katherine Heigl won the Emmy....I know you and your family will be celebrating another Izzie tomorrow!  Sad not to be at work tomorrow, but you are in my prayers for a successful surgery and recovery.  You are an amazing example to others.
