I have never met you Mallory but I have been following your progress through you journal for months and my Sunday School class has been praying for you.

Check me on the dates and days but is the 117 day of your journey going to be on 11.17.07 this Saturday.  I hope and pray that the number 17 holds true for you and that you are home by this date.

YAY! Awesome job on the liver laps and eating. You will be home before you know it... crossing my fingers that it"ll be before Thanksgiving!

Why not take the feeding tube out during the day and see if she can eat and drink better and then put it back in and do feeds at night?

That is great news....I am glad that you are feeling better!!!  I remember when I was at Emory I had to walk....I believe it was 21 times around the floor before I could go home.  It was the completion of 1 mile.  Now of course I did not do this all at once...hehe.  I built up to it and did it throughout the course of a day, but I did it and I know you can too.  Hopefully they will not make you go that far!  :)  Keep up the good work girl...you are getting there!!!

  It has MADE MY DAY reading that you have a good day today!!! It"s about time, huh?!?! Just keep taking those walks (don"t overdo though) and trying to eat a little more each day & you will be getting better before you know it!!!! You have to...you are the Energizer Bunny, remember?? 

We went to New Orleans to see Amber this weekend. Her and Frank went to the Saints game. Too bad they lost. She said to tell you hello and that she loves you & thinks about you all the time. She has a 5x7 picture of you in her bedroom.

     I haven"t posted in awhile, but I check your journal often and have almost everyone I know praying for you!  It sounds like you have really turned a corner in your recovery, Mallory.  That is wonderful!  And great job with the popsicles.  If you can eat tiny amounts often, just a few bites - like every hour or two - it won"t seem like such a mountain to get over.  Your stomach will be happy and by the end of the day, you"ll have those calories.  This is going to be a great week!

We found out about your situation while listening to STAR94.  Our daughter Courtney, one of your nurses, had us record your interview.  She was attending the Georgia Southern/Furman game and could not get reception.  Courtney called a short time after your interview and we played it over the phone.  She could not wait to hear it!  You guys did a great job!  Just want all of you to know that we are praying for you.  Mal you are a real inspiration to everyone your life has touched.

Hi Mal!! I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for you!! Your life has become such a testament to your faith in God and how even in the hardest times, you just have to put all of your trust in Him!! In times like these it is so easy to doubt God and ask why me, but you have made your life say just the opposite. You have taken these obstacles and met them head on, never letting go of your faith! I look up to you for your strenth, perseverance, and your faith! You have come so far from the little girl I cheered with on Jr. Mustangs with Shawna and Brandy!! :) I am coming home early for Thanksgiving (this Sunday) and would love to come and visit if you are up to it. Dear Mal, it was so great to hear your voice yesterday!   All of the family did such a great job!  I was surprised that Michael didn"t speak!  So glad that the telethon did so well!  We listened for Alex and you and you were both super great! I"m doing OK. Jill called today and said i was dehydrated so they upped my fluids from 1 liter to 2 liters. I"ve been drinking about a liter of water a day but I guess i"ll up it to 2. I really don"t want to go back...

Hi Mal

My son and I were across the street exactly two weeks ago for my transplant and thus were unable to visit you. Lucky for us my son was out soon and I was released on Wednesday back to the wonderful Mason House. As my wife and I were about to celebrate our 37th anniversary we decided to give each other a TV for Mason House. Hope you will be able to go there soon on your way home. If you remember, our dog is named Kidney and yesterday we received flowers for "Miss Kidney and all the other little kidneys" at our appartment. We still keep up with your site and enjoyed meeting your grandmother. You have a great family and we are all pulling for you to get home soon.
